Bill Inserts

September 2021

Dear JCSUD Customers,

Going above and beyond in meeting your water needs is the focus of everything we do.   To continue meeting your needs, the new bill payment system that we have been communicating about over the past months has been implemented.  Your bill features a new account number that connects your service address(es) and meter(s) to the new bill payment system.

If you use Pay-by-Mail, Pay-by-Phone or In-person payment, you don’t need to create an online payment profile. You can continue to make payments by mail, by phone, or in-person at JCSUD without a payment profile.

If you use Auto Pay, Online Bill Payment or Pay-by-Text, you will need to create a new payment profile to connect your new account number to your desired payment method. The payment website will be available for customers to create a new online payment profile starting on September 8, 2021.

Here are the simple, step-by-step instructions for using your new account number to create a new online payment profile:

  1. Visit JCSUD.com
  2. Click SET UP NEW PAYMENT PROFILE
  3. Click Register and follow the prompts
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Login using your email address and password
  6. Click Utility Billing
  7. Click Add an account and follow the prompts (Account Number and Last Payment Amount can be found on your most recent bill)
  8. Click the silhouette dropdown in the upper right corner – select Payment information
  9. Click Add Payment Method and follow the prompts

Using your new payment profile, you can view account details, pay your bill, and manage multiple accounts.  We're here to help make any needed changes easy.  Please call us if you have any questions at 817-760-5200 or email us at helpinfo@jcsud.com.

Sincerely,

August 2021

Dear JCSUD customers,

This month, we have two updates for you:

Bill Payment System:  In last month’s bill, I wrote about our project to replace JCSUD’s nearly quarter-century old bill payment system. I’m pleased to report that teamwork between us and the several companies that support our metering, service management, quality control and bill production activities is keeping us on schedule to make the switch to the new payment system starting with bills received by customers in early September.

This change will be apparent in two ways:

  • While its look isn’t changing, your monthly bill will feature a new account number that will connect your service address(es) and meter(s) to the new bill payment system.
  • If you use Auto Pay, Online Bill Payment or Pay-by-Text, you will need to go online next month to create a new payment profile. The process will be simple and likely familiar, but will need to occur to connect your new account number and your desired payment method. Note – if you’ll continue to use Pay-by-Mail, Pay-by-Phone or In-person payment, you won’t need to create a customer profile.

You don’t need to do anything right now – we just want to keep you up to date on the changes that are coming. We’ll give you step-by-step instructions next month when we start implementing this new bill payment system.

A New Look for JCSUD:  Meanwhile, in reading this letter and looking at the enclosed bill, you’re seeing the first evidences of another important JCSUD project – a new logo and look. Our region has been growing since the days when we only served a fraction of the customers and communities that we do now. With water being one of the single most essential services you receive, your view of our purpose, the value of our relationship with you and the trust you place in us are a top priority to me and our team. Our logo and how we present it is our calling card to you in every interaction, from establishing service to safely, reliably and affordably delivering water.

Our new bill payment system and the fresh look we’ll be applying to every touchpoint you experience with the JCSUD team is important. It’s part of our recommitment to setting high expectations for the quality we bring to you and the communities we serve, then delivering on these promises.

Whether it’s a question about how you make your water payments, the updating of our logo and identity, or anything else about JCSUD, please be in touch. Send your questions or thoughts to helpinfo@jcsud.com or call our Customer Service Representatives at 817-760-5200.

Thank you for allowing us to provide you with safe, reliable and affordable water.

Sincerely,

Pete Kampfer

July 2021

Dear JCSUD Customers,

Going above and beyond in meeting your water needs is the focus of everything we do. Making your monthly JCSUD bills easy to understand and pay, as well as being efficient in the billing process, is an important part of delivering the best water service value to you.

The system JCSUD has used in billing for 23 years has worked well for us all, but when it was implemented, the District served around 6,000 customers. Today, with more than 17,000 customers and growing demand, we’ve outpaced this system, which connects meter reading, service management, quality control and other functions – including billing – to bring you clean, reliable water.

To continue meeting your needs, we will be implementing a new bill payment system, starting with JCSUD bills being distributed in early September. For a number of customers – including those using Pay-by-Mail, Dropbox Payment, Pay by Phone, and In-person Payment – there essentially will be no change. If you use Auto Pay, Online Bill Payment, or Pay by Text, you will be required to create a new online payment profile.

We’ll be communicating with you early and often, so any changes needed in how you pay your bill will be made as easy as possible. While we anticipate you’ll be able to easily handle this from the comfort of your easy chair and on your own schedule, you can contact us for any assistance you may need.

In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions as we prepare for this change later this summer. Send your questions or thoughts to helpinfo@jcsud.com or call our Customer Service Representatives at 817-760-5200.

Our commitment to taking great care of the families and communities we serve, flows deep within all of us here at JCSUD, and we want to hear from you.  Please take a few minutes to complete the 2021 Customer Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2021JCSUD.  JCSUD would like your opinion on how well we deliver our services to you so we can better serve the needs of those who are counting on us.

Sincerely,
