Each year, the JCSUD Board of Directors has positions available for election. The Board is comprised of 7 Board members. The Board members are elected to 3-year terms with the terms staggered as follows:
- 2024-2027 Two Positions
- 2025-2028 Three Positions
- 2026-2029 Two Positions
In October of each year, JCSUD posts notice for the positions up for election. Once elected, the Director will serve their 3 year term. Should a Board member resign, the Board will seek qualified candidates and will appoint someone to fill the open position until that term expires. Once that term is up for election, the appointed Board member must file and run for election in order to retain their position.
