Dear JCSUD Customers,
In April 2022, the Johnson County Special Utility District Board of Directors approved a wastewater rate increase.
Effective on your June 2022 bill, wastewater rates for JCSUD customers will increase a modest amount, depending on monthly usage. This increase will affect a small group of customers who are on the JCSUD wastewater system in Joshua, Texas. Here is a comparison of the previous and new rates:
The new wastewater rates increase a 5,000-gallon residential bill from $44.50 to $46.40, a 4.23% increase.
The board took great care in considering all factors in deciding on these rate changes, including the increasing costs of maintenance and operation, and both the potential for continuing growth in our population and the possibility of a reduction in our region’s economy.
