Pressure Plane 13 Improvements
JCSUD, in partnership with Kimley-Horn, is advancing improvements to Pressure Plane 13 (Godley area) to support long-term water service reliability and capacity. The project is divided into four key phases:
Phase 1A – Existing Plant 11 Pump Station and Generator
- Upgrades are underway to increase pumping capacity.
- A backup generator has been installed.
Phase 1B – New Ground Storage Tank (GST)
- A 1-million-gallon prestressed concrete GST is complete.
Phase 2 – New Pump Station at Plant 11
- Planned construction of a new 6,000 GPM pump station with SCADA and electrical rooms, including yard piping and site upgrades.
Phase 3 – Water Transmission Mains
- Approximately 3,450 linear feet of 16" water transmission main along Highway 171 from Godley High School to the intersection of CR 1001 and Wildcat Ridge.
- Approximately 9,950 linear feet of 24" and 16" water transmission main from the existing Plant 11 pump station to the intersection of Highway 171 and North Hadley Road.
- Approximately 9,700 linear feet of 16" water transmission main from County Road 1128 to a proposed elevated storage site located off FM 2331.
Phase 4 – Elevated Storage Tank (EST)
- A new 2-million-gallon elevated tank is being planned, along with necessary yard piping and site improvements.
Plant 8 Elevated Storage Tank
JCSUD constructed a new 1-million-gallon elevated storage tank (EST) in the west Burleson area, located off CR 919. This tank stands over 175 feet tall and serves as a key addition to our water system infrastructure. The new EST went into service in February 2026, and will improve water pressure for nearby customers, enhance overall system reliability, and provide critical storage to meet peak water demand and emergency needs
This investment supports our long-term commitment to delivering safe, reliable water to a growing community.
Highway 67 and County Road 805 Waterline Relocation Project
TxDOT will be constructing a service road along HWY 67. At the intersection of HWY 67 and CR 805, a 12-inch waterline belonging to the District is in conflict with a box culvert. Given the District's existing agreement with TxDOT in that area, the cost incurred by the District for the waterline relocation will be 100% reimbursed by TxDOT.
In a public meeting on August 19, 2025, the JCSUD Board of Directors voted to award the US 67/CR 805 Waterline Relocation Project to Pipe Crew LLC for an amount not to exceed $149,699.
Relocation of the waterline is complete, and a final walk-through was conducted on February 27, 2026. JCSUD is working on closing out the project.
